Raag-Rung Music Circle, a Gateway to the classical music and dance of India in Northwestern Ontario, is a registered Charitable Organization and dedicates all events to fundraising for worthwhile community causes.

Raag-Rung holds an Annual Fundraising Evening of Fabulous Food and Marvelous Music in each Fall to raise funds for the local Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra and post-secondary student scholarships and bursaries at Lakehead University and Confederation College to help students in perpetuity. This fundraising event has now become a show-case tradition in town and allows Raag Rung to offer sincere thanks to all patrons and, in its humble way, give back to the community that has supported it for all these years. 

Because all members of the Raag-Rung Music Circle Team work on voluntary basis and there are no paid employees, all the funds raised go towards supporting the Symphony Orchestra and the student scholarships and therefore entirely stay in Thunder Bay. A charitable donation receipt is given for all donations for tax purposes.
